The writing centre is a teaching facility where you can receive individual help with course assignments. It is not an essay writing or proof reading service.

It is preferable that you make an appointment to speak to a peer tutor. This can be done through the following procedures:

• Use the link (document image on left) or email Fiona O'Donovan for an appointment.  In the email remember to state your preferred date and time for your appointment and your principal concerns. This will help us to assign you to the correct tutor.  Please click here for Opening Hours.

• Book over the phone at 028 90384510.

• Book in person at the Communication Skills Centre or the Student Support Centre.

• Take a chance and ‘drop-in’.

*Failure to attend a scheduled appointment will be considered by the college as an abuse of the service and may mean that you are unable to make further appointments within that academic year.

Please print and complete the Student Information Form prior to your training session and bring this with you.
